Oh, hey there.
I’m a queer and trans director and producer living in Brooklyn.
I was born in Chicago, but my parents live in the suburbs. I still claim Chicago despite this.
Some of my films include The Script, Caro Comes Out, Across, Beyond, and Over, Botanical Black, and trans·ience. I produce nonfiction and fiction films including Crystal Kayiza’s Sundance Short Film Jury Award Winner Rest Stop and Lydia Cornett’s Bug Farm, which was distributed through POV and Nowness.
I’m very fortunate to have the support of The Sundance Institute (2023 Sundance Institute Producers Intensive and 2016 Sundance Ignite Fellowship), Creative Culture, POV Shorts, GLAAD, The Gotham, HBO Documentary Films, Film Fatales, PBS, Yaddo, and Chicken & Egg Pictures. I’m currently a 2023-2023 BRIClab Artist-in-Residence and a 2023 Dear Producer Mentee.
I graduated from Carleton College's Cinema and Media Studies Program, where I made a lot of weird stuff.
